When making decisions about responsive web design, it’s obviously critical to think about your users and how they use your website. I often find myself looking up the same data over and over and finally got around to making a Google Analytics dashboard focused on responsive design and mobile users.
Enough talk. Get the Dashboard!
Usage guide:
You’ll need to follow the on-screen prompts in Analytics and choose a site to use the dashboard on. When set up, you’ll see three columns:
- Pretty much “Where from”: Essentially where did my mobile users come from and what did they see.
- On what: Which device and resolution did they have. Details about their tech.
- Goals and Events: mobile performance in a nutshell.
Feel free to muck about with it to suit your needs.
Suggestions?
I’m listening. I can’t possibly cater for everyone but hopefully it is a great starter. But feel free to fire an email to hello@responsiveshowcase.com with your thoughts.
